Programs

UEF programs include the flagship program, Ullens School which has become a household name and has proved to be a trustworthy institution where hundreds of students are benefitting with quality, world-class education. It has over 1200 students from K-12 & IBDP, and over 150 faculty members, and employs more than 300 staff. The school is managed fully by a Senior Leadership Team, under the guidance of Chief Academic Officer, Mr. Medin Lamichhane, who has been involved in building the Ullens School community since the inception of UEF. 

The Ullens International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme was established in 2009. It is the first and only IB Diploma Programme in Nepal, recognized by the Government of Nepal. The SR building in campus II hosts the IB Diploma Programme, in its 80,000 sq. ft. built-up space building that can accommodate more than 300 students.

Ullens School Kathmandu is a recent addition to the UEF Programs. Seventeen years after its inception, Ullens School Kathmandu was established in March 11, 2023, primarily targeting the residents of Kathmandu Metropolitan City and its neighboring municipalities. It continues to provide world class education in its campus that includes airy, spacious classrooms, laboratories, library, cafeteria and an auditorium, which seats up to 350 individuals and that can also be used for indoor sports. 

UEF has also initiated other programs to complement the formal schooling curriculum. With over 400 ropanis of pristine land in Nala, Kavre, 7KM away from the town of Banepa, is Ullens Outdoor Learning Center, which can accommodate over 70 students in sustainably designed structures which oversees a valley on one side and the Himalayan range on another. UEF also started the first-ever gap year program, Ullens LEAP, to create a bridge for life-long-learning for all students. Lastly, UEF will embark on its largest endeavor yet, to establish a liberal arts college in Nepal, to promote Nepal as a hub for education in South Asia in the coming years.
