Library
It is believed that reading is the best way to develop vocabulary and improve comprehension skills. Ullens School Kathmandu houses a central library and mini libraries in each classroom. The libraries hold books, periodicals, and resource materials to enhance the students’ knowledge. Qualified librarian provides access to online publications and books.
Science Laboratory
Ullens School Kathmandu has a well-equipped science laboratory. The laboratory allows firsthand study of concepts relating to biology, chemistry and physics which helps students gain experience in scientific methods.
Computer Laboratory
Ullens School Kathamandu prepares the students to thrive in today’s technologically driven world. Students are provided access to individual computers to explore and enhance their digital literacy and ICT skills. Students have unlimited access to the laboratory and are encouraged to spend their free time doing coursework and personal research. However,a strict code of conduct related to the use of the internet is implemented and all students are expected to be aware of the standards.
Digital Classrooms
Ullens School Kathmandu has up-to-date technology to support its pedagogy. Each classroom has an interactive whiteboard which is used by both teachers and the students. These boards are crucial instructional tools of the 21st century as it allows the students to access various multimedia resources to facilitate their learning.
The Multipurpose Auditorium
The multipurpose auditorium at Ullens School Kathmandu has a proscenium stage, which is used for assemblies, exhibition, and art shows. This space is used by the students for various indoor sports such as table tennis, gymnastics, badminton, and other team building activities.
Cafeteria
The school cafeteria serves hot vegetarian meals to all students. Elementary Grades (Tier I & II) are provided with breakfast, lunch and afternoon snack while Secondary Grades are provided with lunch and afternoon snack. The food committee prepares school menus, and trained staff prepare meals in our kitchen under the direction of a professional Chef.
Transportation
Ullens School Kathmandu has a fleet of air-conditioned microbuses for transporting students to and from school and other activities. Ninety percent of our students use the school transportation.
Infirmary
In case of unforeseen incidence within the school premises, Ullens School Kathmandu is prepared to give first aid through our registered Nurse at the school infirmary. The school infirmary has all the necessary medical instruments and a professional nurse to provide first line of care to the students and staff in need.
