Ullens Education Foundation

The Ullens Education Foundation was established in 2006, and is dedicated to enabling world-class education opportunities in Nepal. UEF runs Ullens School (K12 & IBDP), Nepal’s first International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme, a Kindergarten at a separate location, and continues to have a long term partnership with the Bank Street College of Education, New York. UEF is guided by a 5 member Board of Trustees which provides strategic oversight to all the institutions and programs under UEF.

Our Programs

The Foundation established Ullens School at Khumaltar-15, Lalitpur in 2006. The school has been registered with the Ministry of Education and has obtained all the required permissions. In 2009 Ullens School also received authorization from MoE, Nepal and IBO (International Baccalaureate Organization) to run IBDP (International Baccalaureate Diploma Program) at Ullens School and IBDP came to full operation from August of the same year.

IBDP

Ullens School is the first and only IB World School in Nepal that has been authorized by the Government of Nepal to run the IB Diploma Programme. The Ullens School IBDP commenced in the year 2009. The IBDP is a rigorous two-year pre-university international education programme that meets the needs of highly motivated secondary school students between the ages of 16 and 19 years.
